Maximum poster size is 45” x 45” / 114.3 cm x 114.3 cm. Velcro will be provided on site to hang your poster in the exhibition hall. Posters will be on display throughout the conference dates.
Topical sessions are 90 minutes in length and include 6 talks, each with 12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions. All presentations will be done on PowerPoint (.pptx). Please remit your PowerPoint to the audiovisual team in the Speaker Ready room upon arrival at the Palais des congrès de Montréal/Montreal Convention Centre.
WCMB 2018 has arranged for the publication of a ‘proceedings’ Collection at PeerJ, a respected open access publisher in the biological, medical and environmental sciences, with dedicated subject sections in Marine Biology and Biodiversity. This Collection will be able to contain abstracts accepted for the conference, in addition to any peer-reviewed journal publications published at PeerJ.
See Instructions to submit a Preprint here.
DEADLINE: Conference presenters are invited to submit accepted abstracts to PeerJ Preprints by March 30, 2018. Submission for publication is optional.
All abstracts, posters and presentations related to the conference can be submitted to PeerJ Preprints free of charge. Since it is not a publication, it does not preclude the submission of a full paper to any other journal. Authors may also formally submit later a full paper to the PeerJ journal, which will be independently reviewed by peers. If your full paper is accepted for publication by PeerJ, it would be added to the WCMB Conference Collection following payment of the publication fee (see fee grid here).
More information about PeerJ can be found at: https://peerj.com/about/publications/.
